Port of Vordingborg is located in the Southern part of Zealand close to the Great Belt and Baltic Sea.
Port of Vordingborg have recently completed a massive expansion which includes deepening of the channel up to 10,4 meters. This now enables very large cargo vessels to call the Port.
The expansion has contributed to Port of Vordingborg is now one of the largest grain exporting ports in Northern Europe.
The main business in Port of Vordingborg is grain, but there is a continuing growth in raw materials for feed production, materials for the Storstrøm Bridge and the extension of the railway line between Ringsted and Rødby.
